Joyce VON BROCK

JOYCE (JENKINS) VON BROCK, 90, of Deerfield Rd., Pomfret Center, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Burrillville, RI. She was the wife of the late Harold L. von Brock. Born in Seattle, WA, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. S. and Gertrude (Williams) Jenkins. Mrs. von Brock began her thirty year banking career with the former Putnam Savings & Loan and retired from the former Union Trust Bank, Greenwich, CT in 1979. She volunteered for many years at the Day Kimball Hospital, was an avid reader and was a basketball and tennis fan. She is survived by two children, William von Brock of Pomfret Center, CT, and Erica Warrington of Slatersville, RI, a brother, Charles Jenkins of Boulder, CO, two grandchildren, Jessica St. Pierre and Christian Warrington and two great grandchildren, Jackson Lynch and Eden St. Pierre.
