Katherine A. Tarantino
Katherine A. Tarantino, 96, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Stamford on August 20, 1921 to the Late Frank and Teresa Melia Tisano.
Katherine is survived by her children, Peter Tarantino and his wife Kristiana of Cos Cob,CT, Salvatore F. Tarantino and his wife Carol of Colchester, CT, Maria Kentala and her husband Doug of FL, her grandsons, Eric Schroeder and Lucas Tarantino, granddaughter, Kacee Kentala, great grandson Valor Ace O'Neil and a brother, Peter Tisano of Las Vegas, NV, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Tarantino, three brothers, James, Patrick and John Tisano, two sisters, Josephine Vezzetti, Florence Michaels and her grandson, Sean Schroeder.
There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be held privately.
The Tarantino family requests that donations be made in Katherine's memory to a local charity of one's choice.
