Nina Pagano

NINA PAGANO - passed away on June 16, 2006 at the age of 87. She was born on October 23, 1918 in Grantsboro, NC to the late Olive and Graham Dixon. Her husband, Louis Pagano of Port Chester, NY pre-deceased her in May 1992. Nina, when not taking care of the household, liked watching baseball and doing crossword puzzles, but going for rides in the car was at the top of the list. Nina is survived by her son Louis Pagano Jr. (Linda) of Greenwich, four daughters, Joan LaMantia (Eugene) of Greenwich, CT, Evelyn Pagano of Morrisville, PA, Kathy Salois (Chane) of Toppenish, WA and Ann Nelson (Tim) of Tuttle, OK. A sister Sally Bennet (Horace) of Grantsboro, NC and a brother William Dixon (Helen) of Grantsboro, NC, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by a brother Ray Dixon (Iris). Friends may call on Monday June 19, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday June 20, 2006 at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY. Nina resided at Scofield Manor for several years and her family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Scofield Manor, 614 Scofieldtown Rd., Stamford, CT 06903.
