Peter Viteretto Obituary
Peter J. Viteretto of Stamford, CT passed away on June 15, 2016 at Cornell Medical. Mr Viteretto was born and raised in Greenwich CT. Peter played AAA baseball with the Detroit Tigers until he suffered a shoulder injury. In 1960, he married Lorry DeCarlo and they moved to Stamford and opened Twin Ridge Barber Shop. He proudly served in the US Army. Mr Viteretto is survived by Lorry, his loving wife of 54 years, his two sons: Scott and his wife Shannon of Monroe, CT, Chris and his wife Shanon of Stamford. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Shippan's Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home ( next to the Knights of Columbus) 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St Leo Church 24 Roxbury Rd, Stamford. Interment will follow at St John Cemetery.
