Richard (Dick) Vincent passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, February 24, at Edmonds Landing. He was 95 years old.
Born on September 6, 1928, in Malden, MA, to Francis Raymond and Esther Vincent, Dick was the second of four brothers, Clint, Peter, and Paul. Dick enlisted in the Army in September 1946, at the age of 18, serving in Korea for two years. After graduating from Northeastern University with a degree in business/marketing, he moved to New York City to work in the mailroom at J. Walter Thompson Advertising Company. Dick also started on his marriage career at JWT, finding the girl of his dreams, Eileen Marie Donner. They were married in 1958 and resided in Old Greenwich, CT, where they raised four children, Alison, Brooke, Heather, and Wenla.
He worked at Time Magazine from 1960 to 1967, as Sales Research Manager and Donnelley Marketing as the Director of Marketing Services until he retired in 1990. They moved to East Wallingford, VT, for 10 years, before uprooting to Camano Island, WA. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Eileen, 4 children, and 7 grandchildren, Amelia Best, Cooper and Lucia Bassett, Scott and Jessica Ramseyer, and Ella and Todd Petry.
