To Sara and Morgan,
Our deepest sympathy and prayers. Sally, your Mum, was wonderful and we appreciate you two letting us share with you her life. You and your children were the most important people but amazingly so she was able to make other people feel unique in her affection.
May her example keep us going and her spirit keep us fighting!!

Dear Morgan and family: I was saddened to learn of your Mom's death this morning from the parents of one of my students. I have such fond thoughts of your whole family during my high school years--you were all always kind and welcoming to me.
Your Mom will be deeply missed by many people and my thoughts are with all of you

Dear O'Brien Family,
My sisters and I send our love and sympathy to you. We adored your mother; her spirit, humor, practicality, drive, integrity, her FUN! inspired all who met her. She cared for people in a thousand kind and thoughtful ways, and despite her legendary status and success, she was one of the most down-to-earth and unaffected
souls we ever met. As many others are saying, Sally was a truly rare woman with enormous character and substance. We have no doubt she is busy now settling the angels in their proper Gold Coast places in heaven. Fondly, Nina, Sally, and Tracey McCullough

Dear Sara, Morgan and all kids,
John and I are so sad about Sally. I know that everyone feels the same way, she was such an incredible presence in all of our lives. We will miss her greatly. The best news is that she is with Hopey. She always told us about Hopey being on her shoulder giving her advice. She brought us great comfort in our time of lose, and I hope we can offer our comfort to you. We will be there tomorrow, and we extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. It is a real lose to the Greenwich community and the world.

Dear Sara and the O'Brien clan, I was so sorry to hear of you mom's untimely death. She was one of my mother's (Kate Gerrity Sr's.) favorite people, I believe they may have been second cousins. I had the pleasure of knowing your mom, she is still in my cell phone and I am so sad that I will have to wait until she and my mother meet me at heaven's tavern to catch up. My prayers to all the O'Brien's on their loss of a remarkable spirit and woman. Love, Kate Gerrity

To the O'Brien Family,
I was blessed to know Sally both professionally and personally since I moved to CT in 1992. Sally was a truly special woman. She had such integrity, such grit. You always knew what you were getting with her. It's hard to even think of Sally as not being on this earth because she seemed like she would be here forever. Sally touched me and for that I will always be grateful. I am a better person for having known her and am so, so sorry she is gone. I will miss her piercing blue eyes, her sense of humor and the warm way she had ~ Not to mentioned her admirable quality of cutting through the "bull" with her strong Irish personality!
We've all lost someone who made the world a much more interesting place. I'm sorry she's gone. I will miss her.
With love,
Martha Kelly

IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE SALLY IN ONE WORD, I WOULD HAVE TO SAY SHE WAS....KIND!
SALLY WAS KIND...DEEP INTO HER BEING.
BUT A CLOSE SECOND DESCRIPTION OF SALLY IS......CLASSY!
SALLY PERSONIFIED WHAT "CLASS" MEANS.
SHE TOUCHED MY LIFE IN A PROFOUND WAY. GOD BLESSED... ANYONE WHO EVER KNEW SALLY! BECAUSE SALLY WAS BLESSED PERSON!

I will be sending a personal letter to the O'Brien family via the old fashioned method. Suffice it to say that although my day has been duly saddened, I know in my heart that Royall and Hope are having a wonderful reunion with their incredibly special wife and mother.

To Sally's family,
I was tremendously fond of Sally and send you heartfelt sympathy on the loss of such a vibrant, fun-loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She recently sold me my home (seller side), and I, at her request, was so looking forward to having her come see the changes I had made. She was convinced that I needed a new range (vintage 70's, combination >two ovens and four burners) and I said oh no, I can live with this. I wish I could tell her how right she was.
Whenever I saw her she had a huge smile on her face and a cheery greeting. Her indelible mark on Greenwich's R.E. market aside, she will be sorely missed by so very many of us. And we will remember fondly that contagious and almost mischievous smile!
With deep condolences,
Robin

Dear Members of the O'Brien Family:
Your Mom was a peach and a very gifted entrepreneur. When my parents retired in the 1990s, Mrs. O'Brien managed the sale of our home on Pheasant Lane. She took care of every detail, helping to lessen the pain of leaving a neighborhood and community in which we were firmly entrenched.
Mrs. O'Brien possessed an upbeat personality and diligent work ethic-traits that allowed her to excel in the competitive world of high-end real estate.
On behalf of the Farley family and all past and future inhabitants of 1 Pheasant Lane, we extend our sympathies for your loss.

What a shock to see the papers today and realize that Sally is gone! She was a wonderful person with many talents. When she laughed, the whole world smiled. She combined professional skills with great moral values. She was both a mentor to many and a friend to all.
Heaven is a happier place now that she is there.
