Shirley Sharlach Obituary
Born Oct. 25, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose Freund Swist.
Mrs. Sharlach was a retired Bookkeeper having worked for the Gilbert Pharmacy in Darien.
Survivors include her son Philip Sharlach and his wife Suzanne of Wilton, CT, two grandsons Steven Sharlach of New York, NY and Darren Sharlach of West Windsor, NJ and two great grandchildren Michael and Emily Sharlach.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Isadore Sharlach.
A funeral service will be held on Mon. Sept. 26, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford, with Rabbi Daniel Cohen officiating. Interment will follow at Agudath Sholom Cemetery, Westhill Rd. Stamford.
Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Sharlach's name to the Stamford Hospital Foundation c/o Stamford Health System Shelburne Rd. Stamford, 06904.
Shiva will be observed at the Home of Philip and Suzanne Sharlach 26 Snowberry Lane Wilton, CT immediately after the interment through Wed. evening Sept. 28, 2005.
