Clyde Arlen David Frost

1957 - 2024

Clyde Arlen David Frost, 66, passed away on November 5th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

David was born on November 23, 1957 in Gridley California to Betty and Frank Frost. He graduated from Gridley High School in 1975. He joined the Air Force soon after and was Honorably Discharged in 1977. After his time in the Air Force David had many careers, including working the oil rigs in Oregon but was most notably a skilled welder fabricator at several Northern California agricultural milling facilities.

David loved spending time outdoors doing the things he enjoyed the most- riding his motorcycle, exploring local trails on his mountain bike, going to the races, and listening to the Blues. An athlete in his youth, he loved football and baseball. He loved his pets and almost always had a dog by his side.

David was a loving and supportive father to his children, always ready to dole out advice or just call to check in. David was incredibly proud of his grandchildren. He loved to spoil them with gifts and play catch with them while providing plenty of pointers on how to pitch.

David had many adventures, and you knew you were on his good side when he reminisced with you- often in hilarious detail.
David was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Frank. He is survived by his children Tiffany Norris and Jacob Frost; grandchildren Riley Frost, Lila Norris, Amelia Norris and Noemi Frost; brothers Frank Frost and James Frost; sisters Susie Frost and Mary Lou Long, and several loving nieces and nephews.
