Fred K. Carne

1927 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred K. Carne. On January 27, 2022 Fred took his final breath, surrounded by loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed Fred on October 7, 1927. He was born in Sacramento, CA at Sutter Hospital. That day the world became a brighter place. Fred lived a full and warm life, filled with love, happiness, and joy. Fred will be forever remembered and, in every heart, missed. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Carne. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Leanne Sonia Carne, daughters, Sheryll Carney (Robert), Jennifer Sharpe (John); Sons, Russel Carne, Jeffery Macey, Stephen Macey (Julie); 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Bill Carne Twins) and their families. Services will be held at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. February 14, 2022, in the gazebo, with the CHP Escort as Fred gave 34 years of his life to helping and serving the community and the people. He will be honored with a Navy VFW salute for his 2 years of service. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
