Benny Cruz Obituary
(December 15, 1938 - July 24, 2011) Retired Lieutenant - Guam Customs & Quarantine ~ Familian Gabit - 'BM/Ben' of Auburn, Washington and formerly of Talofofo, was called home by our heavenly Father at the age of 72. Rosary is being prayed each evening at 7:30 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Talofofo. (On Tuesday, August 2nd (9th night) Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. followed by a dinner reception. On Thursday, August 4th, no Rosary will be prayed.) Last Respects for Benny will be held on Saturday, August 6th from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Talofofo. Mass for a Christian burial will be offered at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Guam Memorial Park in Leyang - Barrigada, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.

Our deepest and sincere condolences go out to Ben’s family (Cruz’s, Roberto’s & Quitugua’s). Ben was a very compassionate and humble person. He treated people with great respect and had a knack to making friends with anyone. He raised find, outstanding children who became productive citizens in their community. We join in prayers for Ben’s wife, Rosa and their children’s spiritual and emotional comfort and in their moments of grief.
