(Familian Anka) February 4, 1964 to January 4, 2014 ~ A Mass of Intention is offered nightly at San Bernadita Catholic Church, Yigo January 6-10, 2014 at 6:30pm, January 11-12, 2014 at 6pm. On January 12, 2014 to celebrate the 9th night, mass will be offered at 6pm followed by dinner held at the residence of George and Norma Salas #288 Chalan Mataguac, Yigo. Last respects may be paid on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Yigo from 9am-12:15pm. Mass for a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Veterans Cemetery in Piti.

To my Paren George's family,

My heartfelt condolences in the passing of a great friend, brother, uncle, husband and father. George was a true friend when we were in high school and even when I joined the service. I can reflect back to the happy times we had growing up in our teen years. George was one of my groom's men on my wedding. Paren George was a true and sincere man which led me to ask him to be the godfather to my oldest daughter Francine. Though this is a moment to grief, because he is not physically with us on this earth. We must also be happy for him in celebrating his new life with God our father. Let us all think of the happy times and moment we had shared with George and let that be the memory we hold and remember of him. Paren George, I am sadden, but also happy for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you, and may he lift up His countenance upon you.
And give you peace. You will be truly missed my friend!

The last time I spoke to George was before Christmas and said that he was going to Sacramento to visit his brother. He said that he was looking forward for the family reunion. Uncle George, you were my 1st True Role Model. I looked up to you when we were growing up. You helped me develop my Basketball Skills and were there when I needed someone to talk to. Thank you for everything you've done for me when I was young! I'm thankful to God that he let me see you once more before your passing. I'm also thankful that you met my Family!
