Terry and Carlos, Nina and Nino Camit, Conchita, Ed, Tommy and the rest of the family:
My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this very sad time in your lives.
When I heard of Auntie Beck’s passing, I was sad but I smiled for my thoughts went to where she is now… heaven, and who she is with…Jesus. Then, I thought back of all the fond memories I had of her. The carrot cake she baked, and the icing that went on the cake, oh was it DELICIOUS!! The kind greeting and welcome she always gave us every time we visited her and Uncle John. Her love of children was visible in her nurturing and caring way; I’ll never forget how sweet she was to me! My most recent memory of Auntie Beck was when she came to my mom's funeral viewing this past February. I approached her and greeted her by showing respect on her hand, she didn’t quite remember who I was, however, once I told her I was Chong, Ancha’s daughter, she remembered. We will surely miss her but our comfort is knowing she is in a much better place and she is with Jesus, Uncle John, Auntie Angie and the rest of the family who have gone before us. Always pray and lean on each other for comfort, God will do the rest!
“Auntie Beck thank you for the love and kindness you showed my mom Ancha, my dad Demetro and last but not least, me, Chong. Please tell my mom & dad I miss them and I'll see them at the gate!”
Love and Prayers,
Connie (Blas Borja), Leo, Demetrio & Larissa Sarusal

Mama Beck, you have that name because you are and were 'our mother', when are a large family of first cousins, who considered each other as our own brothers and sisters and you were our 'Mama Beck'. You gave us your love always, scolded us when we were bad and always there when each one of us needed your help and guidance. You gave the family your strength in faith and God. Now you are in heaven with the rest of our departed love ones...we miss you greatly, but know that you are enjoying the peace and comfort of the Lord's grace. We love you.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To my Sister-in-law, Terry, my brother Carlos, and children - Zina, Carlos Jr., Lisa, Grandchildren and to the Pablo family. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child; and/or between siblings. Our deepest condolences on the loss of Nan Beck. With God's grace you will cope the pain and sorrow on the days forward. Nan Beck was a very, very, very nice and good woman. She was extremely strong in principle such as family values and solid Church teachings. She placed her life in Jesus' hands and was blessed many times over. Nan Beck played a significant part in many individuals' lifes. She will always be remembered for her friendly smile, her tactful demeanor, and motherly wisdom. I will miss her and her wonderful hospitality. May God Bless each and every one of you; keep the faith and family ties strong....as this is what Nan Beck would expect you all to do. I wish I was able to attend the rosary and funeral services.
Much love and prayers,
