Jack Niland Obituary
In memory of our Capuchin Brother, Fr. Jack Niland, O.F.M. Cap., the Capuchin Fraternity of Guam and Hawaii invite you to the nightly rosaries at St. Fidelis Friary at 8:00pm. On the final day, Thursday, August 13, 2009, the Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Agana Heights. Rosary will be prayed at 5:00pm followed by the Memorial Mass at 5:30pm. A dinner reception will follow in the Fatima Hall. Please Join Us as we Pray for and Remember Fr. Jack.

It has been over 30 yrs since I last saw Bro. Jack, when I was a Capuchin as well, saddened to hear of his passing but we know he is in a wonderful place, with the Lord!!

Condolences to the Capuchin Friars for the untimely passing of Fr. Jack. My husband and I remember how blessed we were for having Fr. Jack as a Parish Priest for a time. A friend of ours envied our location as she had to travel to Agat from Dededo just to be in his Mass. We will keep Fr. Jack in our prayers for the eternal repose of his soul. God bless you always, Fr. Jack.

Fr. Jack, you will be greatly missed by all those that you have touched with your kindness and the good hearted person that you are. You will always be remembered with fond memeories of all the joys shared and your smiles. God has given us you on borrowed time and now he calls you back to him. I am deeply saddened by the death of Father Jack Niland. I've known him since I was a little girl. From confirmation, to officiating my marriage, blessing my first home, and the baptism of my first child, Father Jack has been a part of many milestones in my life. You will be missed!
