Michael Dacanay Obituary
(November 29, 1967 - October 1, 2010) 'Mike' of Dededo was called home by our heavenly Father at the age of 42. Rosary is being prayed each evening at Santa Barbara Catholic Church in Dededo Monday through Friday (Lower Level) after the 7 p.m. Mass, Saturday and Sunday (Upper Level) after the 5 p.m. Mass. Last Respects for Michael will be held on Tuesday, October 12th at Santa Barbara Catholic Church (Upper Level) beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 12:15 p.m. Mass for a Christian burial will be offered at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Guam Memorial Park Cemetery in Leyang, Barrigada, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.

I can't sleep and still thinking of you. I wished I could just pick up the phone and hear your voice again or chat on Skype like we used too do when we both can't sleep and talk for awhile till our stomach hurts from laughing and one of us have to say ok talk to you later. Love you my brother and I miss you so much. I find some comfort in wonderful memories and I thank God giving me the strength to face another day. I love you my brother.

To everyone that posted on my dearest brother Mike's guest book.
Thank you all for all the kind words, candles, flowers and support. It was a really hard time for all of us. Mike was only 42 when he passed and if I could I would do anything to trade places with him. 01 Feb 2011 marks his fourth month since he had passed. But to me it seems like it was just yesterday. I know I can't bring him back but I can't help how I feel. We were brothers and best friends. I miss him oh so dearly.
