Christopher England Tebbetts, 55, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.
He was born Aug. 10, 1970, in Batesville to Terrell and Diane (Ott) Tebbetts.
Christopher was an honor graduate of Batesville High School and was a member of the Beta Club. He was a long time member of the Arkansas Governors Developmental Disabilities Council.
Survivors include his parents, Terrell and Diane Tebbetts of Batesville; one brother, Gregory (Stacy) Tebbetts of Batesville; one sister, Nell Tebbetts of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; one nephew, Louis Tebbetts of Batesville; two nieces, Celia Tebbetts of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Kaylee Hawk (Hunter) of Batesville; one uncle, George Tebbetts (Phyllis) of Bryant, and three aunts, Natalie Tebbetts (Dave Miller) of Cordova, Tennessee and Elizabeth Sweazy (Ken) of Aurora, Colorado, and Priscilla Tebbetts of Little Rock, and many loving cousins. Jerry and Joan McElroy were caregivers for Christopher for many years.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, England and Natalie Tebbetts, and Earl and Joan Ott, and his uncles, John Tebbetts and Robert Tebbetts.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Batesville First United Methodist Church.
A visitation will be held in the church parlor one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be made to the Batesville First United Methodist Church, 615 E Main St, Batesville, AR 72501, the United Cerebral Palsy, 1817 Woodsprings Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72401, or to the Easterseals Society, 141 W Jackson Blvd, Suite 1400A, Chicago, Illinois 60604.
