Gregory Wayne McDougal of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Southside, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the age of 67.
He was born on August 10, 1954 in Kansas City, Kansas to Wain (Dub) and Nancy Lou McDougal of Southside, Arkansas. Gregory graduated from Southside High School in Southside, Arkansas. His primary interests in school were playing baseball and basketball. Gregory's greatest pleasures were enjoying the outdoors, playing horseshoes, hunting, fishing and being among friends and family. He was an experienced welder and enjoyed his work. Gregory was an avid motorcycle racer and loved the joy of riding and working on motorcycles.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Kevin McDougal; grandparents: Andrew and Agnus McDougal; and Samual and Nancy Rose Wilson.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memories his son: Mark Clark of Mannford, Oklahoma; brothers: Mark (Mandy) McDougal of Bryant, Arkansas, Wayne (Charlotte) McDougal of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Kirk McDougal of Little Rock, Arkansas.; nieces: Monica McDougal of Cave City, Arkansas and Charity McDougal of Batesville, Arkansas; nephews: Myles McDougal of Little Rock, Arkansas, Shane and Mickey McDougal, both of Whitesburg, Kentucky. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Samuel L. Vance & Sons Funeral Directors of Malvern.
