Frank Louis Brendemuehl
July 8, 1930 - November 14, 2025
Frank Louis Brendemuehl, of Prescott, Wisconsin, took his final bow on November 14, 2025 at the age of 95. Born on July 8, 1930 Frank led a life rich with adventure, service and a whole lot of heart.
From his early days of shooting hoops and throwing punches in high school to navigating the seas and pedaling down open roads, Frank was always on the move. His passion for life led him to the University of Minnesota, where he honed his skills in education and went on to make a lasting impact on countless young minds.
After 35 years of molding young hearts and minds, Frank retired from his role as Director of Curriculum and Instruction, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and innovation in the Hopkins School District 270.
But Frank's adventures didn't stop there, he was a man of many interests, from remodeling homes to swinging a racket on the court. At age 75 he picked up the clarinet he laid down after high school, took lessons and joined the Green Valley band. His love for travel took him far and wide, with one standout trip being a bike journey through the picturesque Loire Valley in France to celebrate his 87th birthday with his beloved family by his side.
Beyond his love for sports and travel, Frank's true passion lay in making a difference in the world around him. He dedicated his time to various causes, from his work at Desert Hills Lutheran Church to his involvement with the Green Valley Food Bank and
Habitat for Humanity. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He was predeceased by his stepson Doug Haugan and his daughter Janet. Frank's legacy is carried on by his loving wife of 56 years, Gail, his devoted children, Julie, Louis and Susan, along with their families. His six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren will continue to cherish his memory and lessons he bestowed upon them.
A memorial service will be held at Desert Hills Lutheran Church in Green Valley at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 23.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to
