Shirley Pavlovich

1944 - 2025

Shirley was born September 23, 1944, in San Francisco, CA, to William Patrick and Marie Fox. She passed away November 4, 2025.
After graduating from high school, she began a 27-year career with Greyhound Inc. as a claims examiner, assistant director of claims and manager of six offices across the U.S. Upon retirement she took an office manager's job with a plumbing company. When her husband, a Bisbee boy, retired they moved to that little town to satisfy his desire to remodel one of the older miner's homes. When that was done, they moved to Green Valley in 1993.
Shirley got involved in a variety of volunteer jobs including 20-plus years with the Community Food Bank, where she also served three terms as advisory board president. She was a member of ABWA, serving as chapter treasurer and president. As a 25-plus year member of the Elks, she served on several committees, was a lodge secretary and a member of the governing board of directors of Arizona Elks Major Projects. She is currently a member of Casas Adobes Lodge #2663 and a past member of American Legion Post 66 Auxiliary. She also volunteered at Vensel Treasure Shoppe and on the La Posada Philanthropy Advisory Committee and as an usher at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
Shirley was predeceased by Leo, her best friend and the love of her life. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Helen Fauland of Mesa, AZ, and Stella Hallsted of Sacramento, CA; her stepdaughter, Ann Driggers (Daryl) of Ladsen, SC; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, November 21, at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 505 N. La Canada Drive, Green Valley. Rosary at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. Internment immediately following the Mass at the Green Valley Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the La Posada Foundation earmarked for Los Ninos Preschool/Daycare would be appreciated.
