Kenneth Craft Obituary

Kenny Craft, age 70, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on 27 March 2025. Kenny was born on 28 February 1955, in Stone Mountain, Georgia, the son of the late Thomas Spurgeon Craft and Sarah Frances Britt.

Kenny graduated from Berkmar High School in 1973. He worked for a variety of construction and manufacturing companies, most notably starting at age 13 for his father's company Craft Sanitation, as well as Pittman Highway Contracting, Mactac, and Kubota. He was a lifelong fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed watching NASCAR and NHRA.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruby Albea Craft, two daughters, Valerie R. Craft and Sarah D. (Ryan) Farr, and stepson J. Allen Belk, Jr., all of Gwinnett County; two grandsons, Jasper and Milo Farr. three siblings, June L. (wid. Troy) Partain of NC, John D. Craft of TN, and Greg S. Craft of GA. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: F. Charlotte (Richard) Dryman, T. Wayne Craft, and Gary D. Craft.

Kenny will be missed by family and friends; a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
