Richard Pittard Obituary

Richard "Rick" Pittard, age 76, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Alan and Judy Pittard; brothers, Alan Pittard, Jr, and Joe Pittard. Mr. Pittard is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Kay King Pittard; children, Rodney and Mindy Pittard of Suwanee, GA and Lori and Pete Pfitzinger of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Luke Pittard and Jay Pittard; brother, Steve (Jennifer) Pittard of Macon, GA; sisters-in-law, Joy (Douglas) McDaniel of Buford, Cecilia Coulson of Buford, Lisa Archer and Jane Halpin of Sugar Hill, Kathy Pittard of Braselton, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Pittard was born on February 15, 1949 in Duluth, GA. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of GA in Athens. Then he retired after twenty years of service from Tucker Door and Trim Company in sales. Rick loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports, and he was an avid golfer himself. He was of the Methodist faith. No formal service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Richard "Rick" Pittard.
