Robert Steele Obituary

Robert F. (Bob) Steele, age 74, of Snellville, died September 4, 2007. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Lilburn First Baptist Church with the remains placed in state at 1:30 PM. Rev. Ken Hall and Mrs. Susan Rumble will officiate. Burial will be in Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Bob was born in Charlotte, NC. He was an active member of Lilburn First Baptist Church, the Lilburn Lions Club, and prior to retirement, he was warehouse manager for SEDCO, Inc. in Norcross for 34 years. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lou Steele of Snellville; daughters, Deborah Ann Parks of Winder and Donna Rae Mueller of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Mueller, Abby Mueller, Megan Mueller, Sarah Sparks, Chris Howell and Gregory Howell; sisters, Elizabeth Helms of Charlotte, NC and Faye Tripp of Columbia, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lilburn First Baptist Church Building Fund or Mission Fund, 285 Main St., Lilburn, GA 30047. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Wednesday at Bill Head Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Bobby was a wonderful person with a remarkable sense of humor. The word "starchy" will always have a special meaning to me.
