RIP.

It's a very sad time right now, obviously.
I know he was tired, and he was ready to go...
But, I wish he was still here - feeling good, working on his garden.
Sad to think about really.

Thank you to everyone who was there for him, and for Penny.
I feel the most sadness for her now. If you're reading this, please keep her in your prayers. It's been a tough couple of years for her. She loved my grandpa, and she did right by him, till the very end. She took better care of him than any other person would have. The day before he passed, I saw firsthand just how considerate and loving she was to him. It was very touching.

He was a father to me and he raised me. We didn't always get along, but we did for the most part. I thanked him and told him that I love him the day before he died. I needed him to hear me say it, and I could tell that he did. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to do so. I will miss him very much.
