News Death Notice
FARRIS, Christopher E. of Madisonville, TN, went home with his Lord and Savior, Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:15 p.m. Christopher was born March 18, 1974 in Oxford, Ohio. He was a 1991 graduate of Talawanda High School, Oxford, Ohio. Chris loved to fish and hunt. He had a loving heart, a gentle spirit, and will be sadly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Cross. Chris leaves his father, Douglas Farris and mother, Debbie Farris of Loudon, TN; sister, Angie Adams (William); adoring niece, Chelsea all of Morning Sun, OH; grandparents, Paul and Betty Farris of Knoxville, TN, Judy Cross Oxford, OH, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, January 27th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Clayton officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dixie Lee Baptist Church Mens Missionary, 14650 Old Stage Road, Lenoir City, TN 37772. I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was such a close friend of my son, Steve, all though out their school years at THS. I wish there were words of comfort that I could give to you but words are never enough.

I remember Chris during the time when I would visit Angie at her parents' house in Oxford. My instant impression of him was that he was very kind and had the sweetest heart. My prayers are being sent to Angie, her parents, and other family members.

Please know that your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. I remember hanging out with Angie a lot when we were young and Chris was such a cute little guy running around.
