WITHROW, Cory ("Bill") Ray Ray "Bill" Withrow, 96, of Trenton, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. He was born in Oxford, Ohio on September 15, 1917 to parents John Clayton and Maude Irene (Cory) Withrow. Mr. Withrow was a self-employed farmer for many years and a union millwright in the building trade. He is survived by his five nephews, Jim (Kay) Withrow, Jack (Vivian) Samuels, Robert Halderman, Ronald (Freda) Halderman and Paul Metcalf; close friend, Cleo Bennett; Cleo's daughter, Joan Bryant. "Bill" was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Elizabeth Withrow; niece, Janet Metcalf; brother, Lawrence Withrow; and sisters, Verna Samuels and Margaret Brandt. The family would like to thank the many people at Mt. Pleasant that gave such good care to "Bill" and also to all the ladies of Senior Independence Hospice. Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Rev. Alecia Schroedel officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Somerville Cemetery.
