David Steck Obituary


News Death Notice

STECK, David Age 70, of Hamilton, passed Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Ft Hamilton Hospital. He was born December 8, 1937, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Leonard and Mildred (Kuenzli) Steck. David served in a weather station in the Artic Circle for the U.S. Army. He enjoyed camping, target shooting, woodworking, and flying with his pilot's license. David retired from Ohio Casualty as a claims adjuster. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Hall) Steck; children, Jeremy (Rachel) Steck, Randy (Holly) Caudill, and Melanie Wullenweber; sister, Marylin (Dale) McGee; grandchildren, Mason Steck, Hannah and Chris Caudill, Amber, Heather, and Jacob Cook, and Sarah Sanchez; great grandchildren, Taylor and Morgan King, Lilianna Cervantes, and Jaime Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Shawn Cook. Funeral service will be 11:00am, July 15, 2008 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Chuck Staudenmaier officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10:00am - until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
