News Death Notice

ALLEN, Dennis Ray Age 65 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on April 5, 1950 to William and Jewell (King) Allen. He was a member of the Monkeys Mutual Aid Society. He loved to golf with his friends in multiple golf leagues. Dennis loved the outdoors, especially spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lorenda Allen; daughters, Chastity Rae Allen, and Shanna Marie (Derane') Aldridge; grandchildren, Dennis Napier, Cody Napier, Jordan Payne, Sammerah Allen, and Ajnique Aldridge; brothers, James (Chi) Allen, Darrell Allen, and Dale (Marilise) Allen; sisters, Lois Willerson, Frieda (Bud) Savage, Suzzette Jones, and Sharon (Glenn Ballinger) Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sisters-in-law, Betty Allen, and Sherry Allen; brother-in-law, Ralph Jones; nephew, John Michael Day; his parents; and his in-laws, Ed and Wanda Isaacs. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
