Douglas STAMPER Obituary
News Death Notice
STAMPER, Douglas H. Doug Stamper passed away Sunday, January 3rd 2016 after 40 days in UC SICU. He was strong, as he had been all his life, until his last breath, which was taken peacefully with his wife, Joe Ann, by his side. Doug has been presented with many athletic awards for his accomplishments as an athlete and leaves many beautiful examples of his master stonework throughout the area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mildred Stamper and his sister, "Bev". He leaves behind his loving wife, Joe Ann, his aunt and uncle, Martha and Herb Carter, family, and many loved ones including his Austin Peay Governors Basketball Team. Further arrangements will be at the familys convenience.

Jo ann, my heart breaks at the news of his passing. He was such a joy to get to know and I am so glad I had the opportunity to.
