ROGERS, Edna Mae Age 75, of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospice Unit on Saturday November 18, 2006 at 5:00 AM. She was born in Hamilton on March 26, 1931 the daughter of Robert and Clara (Sutherland) Sears. On May 29, 1947 in Hamilton she married Claude Rogers who preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by one daughter, Sue Buchheit and her husband John of Middletown; six sons, Claude Rogers and his wife Bernadine of Louisville, Kentucky, Gary Rogers and his wife Paula of Hamilton, Clay Rogers of Iowa, Craig Rogers of Omaha, Nebraska, Glen Rogers of Florida, and Clint Rogers and his wife Emily of the United States Air Force stationed in Japan; ten grandchildren, Shawn Clontz, Shane Clontz, Jason Rogers, Gary Rogers, Jennifer Rogers, Johnny Rogers, Clinton Rogers, Marc Rogers, Steven Rogers, and Stephanie Rogers; thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Barker, John Barker, and Donald Barker, all of California; a longtime companion, Robert Winstead of Hamilton; a dear friend, Lillian Rucker of Hamilton; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold Sears, Robert Sears, and Bernard Sears; and one sister, Nancy Wolf. Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
