News Death Notice
WRIGHT, Eldon C. this life on the morning of April 10, 2014 surrounded by family and friends at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born April 26, 1945 in London, Kentucky; the son of Beatrice (Davis) and Carl Wright. He was a graduate of New Miami High School. On December 31, 1964 he married the love of his life L. Cliffine (McDaniel) Wright in Newport, KY. He served in the Navy from 1964-1968 and the Army National Guard until his retirement in 1995; He was a Vietnam Veteran. He is survived by his children, Todd (Carla) Wright and Dawn "Binky" Pastor; grandchildren Tyler (Megan) Wright, Carley Wright, Tanner Wright, Joshua Hunley, and George Pastor III; sister-in-law Kathy (Monroe) Garrison and nieces Cari Garrison and Maribeth (Terry) Scott, along with great nieces, nephews, family and friends. He also leaves behind his "other girl" Abby, the Lab. He is preceded in death by his parents; Brother James Tompkins; Uncle David Davis and his wife. Eldon's visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014 from 11am-12pm with funeral services to follow at 12pm at the Ivey Funeral Home at Rose Hill Burial Park 2565 Princeton Rd Hamilton, Ohio. Sorry about Eldon, I remember him very well at New Miami H.S. His wife, Cliffen, lived next door on Biesinger Rd. When she was a young girl.

Todd & Bink - I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Eldon was a wonderful man. He will be missed by many. You had 2 of the greatest parents ever. They can now be together again for eternity. Love you both always. Hugs, thoughts & prayers.

I went to school with Eldon from first grade on. I hate that he and Cliffine had to leave this life so young. May God be with the family and give them comfort.
