Eugene HOWARD Obituary
News Death Notice
HOWARD, Eugene 80, of Middletown, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. He was born in Magoffin County, Kentucky on October 1, 1933 to parents Hobart and Hester (Lykins) Howard. Eugene was a supervisor at Shook Construction for over 45 years and a member of the carpenters union local 113 & 136. Gene loved gardening, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels. Gene is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Risner) Howard; sons, Anthony (Janet) Howard, Timothy Ray (Brenda) Howard, Timothy James (Debbie) Howard; daughter, Cassandra (Bill) Halfacre, step son, Matthew (Wendy) Tackett; step daughter, Pamela Tackett brother, Hobart Howard Jr.; sisters, Kay (Ray) Tackett, Rita Barlow and Maye Beedy; 9 grandchildren7 great grandchildren. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank and Kenny Howard; sisters, Donna Faye, Patricia Louise, Christine Howard, Minnie A Hopson and Barb Sanderson. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Franklin Ridge Healthcare Center, Dr. Kaiser and his wonderful staff and Horizon Home Health Care. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 am at WILSON- SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to donor's choice. Please sign the guestbook online at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com
