Evalie KOEHLER Obituary
News Death Notice
KOEHLER, Evalie H. was given to us by her loving parents, George C. Hicks and Clara H. Hicks on March 12, 1926 in Hamilton, Ohio. Evalie was a proud graduate of Miami University in 1946 and later worked for the law office of Mark T. Brown. She married her husband of 48 years, Lester W. Koehler on September 8, 1951. She was a member of the board of trustees of the YWCA for 16 years, a past president and dedicated volunteer of The Emergency Money Fund for 25 years. Lost to us before her were her husband, Les; sister, Christine Rosamond; two brothers, David Hicks and Herbert Hicks and her daughter-in-law, Judy Koehler. She is survived by her son, Mark Koehler; her daughter, Leslie (William) Custer; two grandsons, Jason Koehler and Daniel Custer; two granddaughters, Melissa (Tom) Cox and Bethany Custer; a great granddaughter, Cassidy Cox; a great grandson, Jud Cox and her sister-in-law, Barbara Willmeth. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Friday evening, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home. Graveside services for the family will be at Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Emergency Money Fund, P. O. Box 142, Hamilton, Ohio 45012. Online condolences are available at www.weigelfuneralhome.com
