News Death Notice
WEGENER, Gary R. age 67, of Middletown, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born October 17, 1942 in Bay City, MI to Raymond George and Freida (Johnson) Wegener. He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War with an honorable discharge. He was an elevator technician for Fujitec America for 19 years, retiring in 2003. Gary was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God. He was an avid bike rider. He is preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by his wife, Linda S. Wegener of 31 years; daughter, Mary (David) Cherolis of Miamisburg; sister, Terrlyn Foster of Beaverton, MI; brother-in-laws, Paul (Kathy) McKee, Mike (Karen) McKee; sister-in-laws, Joyce (Harold) Arnold, Barbara (Marc) Lintner. Visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Newell and Pastor Eric Spohr officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with Middletown Combined Honor Guard Services. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.

Linda & family, Terrlyn:
I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing, my sympathies are with you. May God be with you and support you during this sorrowful time.
As in most large families, as the Wegener family is, as we all get older and spread out, it is hard to stay connected to those in our family. As Gary was the oldest cousin in our family, and I one of the youngest, I unfortunately did not know him that well, but he will be missed in the family just the same.
