VOGT, Joyce A. Age 66 of Hamilton, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Hospice of Hamilton in Sunrise Assisted Living Center. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on March 19, 1941 the daughter of Isaac and Evelyn (Wentz) Disher. On June 30, 1962 in St. Stephen Church, Hamilton, Ohio she married J. Michael Vogt. Mrs. Vogt had worked as a bookkeeper at A & P supermarket for nine years and later as a teller at Key Bank, until health issues prevented her from working. She was a member of St. Peter Church, the Red Hats Club, and was a volunteer at the Butler County Animal Shelter. Survivors include her husband, J. Michael; her mother, Evelyn Disher of Hamilton; a daughter, Michele (Timothy) Steven, of Seville, Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Lynn Lewis, of Hamilton, Mary Margaret (James) King, of Connersville, Indiana, and Kathryn Combs of Austin Indiana; a brother-in-law, Thomas Vogt of Birmingham, Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Phillip Leming, the Cancer Care unit at Mercy Hospital, the Cancer Care unit and Cancer Research at Christ Hospital, and all the wonderful nurses and doctors at Christ Hospital Cincinnati and Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. Prayers will be offered at 9:30am Saturday in the Proeschel-Crawford-Zettler Funeral Home, 547 Main St. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Saturday in St. Peter Church. Visitation will be from 5-8:00pm Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
