Family-Placed Obituary
HINKLE, Lana Jo Age 57 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 6, 2005 at her residence. She was born September 2, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio to Edwin and Majel Zickgraf. Lana was a private secretary at Western Ohio Healthcare. She was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and a current member. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, John M. Hinkle; son, Robbie (Christy) Orth of Carlisle, OH; daughter, Kristi (Mark) Wells of Carlisle, OH; step-son, John (Ann) Hinkle, Jr. of Monroe, OH; and a step-daughter, Pennie Jo Montgomery of Middletown, OH; 9 grandchildren, Lacey, Ryan, Sierra, Ryland, Landon, Casey, Maggie, Taylor and Grant; sister, Mitzi Hammond of Virginia; brothers, Ed Zickgraf of Carlisle, OH and Alan Zickgraf of Hillsboro, OH; niece, Dr. Tammy Stall and nephews, Rusty, Ross, Dave, Jimmy and Ed. Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home with American Legion Auxiliary services at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 10:00 am with Rev. Matthew Hinkle and Chaplain Hobert White officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Baker-Stevens Funeral Home is serving the family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Lana. I remember from our childhood days making joke and prank phone calls and visitng family on the Holidays. My only regret was not keeping in touch over the years. Your cousin Dave Hall.
