HARRELL, Michael David Age 46, of Hamilton, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 12:55 a.m. at Vitas Hospice at Ft. Hamilton Hospital due to Pancreatic Cancer. He was born February 10, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Thomas C. and Shirley M. (Conners) Harrell. He was a graduate of Stephen T. Badin High School. He was employed by the City of Hamilton, Street Department as an automotive equipment operator. He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. He was a major Bengals fan and also, North Carolina Tar Heels fan. He loved golfing, bowling, swimming and music by Prince. He is survived by his father, Thomas C. Harrell; his loving son, A.J. Harrell of Hamilton; his devoted companion and very important person in his life, Sandy Lopez of Hamilton; a sister, Sheila Ante and husband Gary of Hamilton; a brother, Steven Harrell and wife Debbie of Fairfield; three nieces; Jenn Frye and husband Joe, Jackie Renneker and husband Andy, Tracy Harrell; two nephews, Matt Harrell and Timothy Ante; and a special dog Biscuit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley M. Harrell in 2000. He had a wonderful circle of friends especially Arnold Baker, Chris Haynes, Donnie Wetta, Gary Cook, Matt Zettler, Denny Turmon, Pamela Clontz, Starr Huffman and Shelleyne Smith. Special thanks to Dr. Shanthi Rajaratnam and Health Alliance team especially Shelleyne Smith and Mary Nunn. Also, special thanks to the City of Hamilton employees who donated their time, especially Bob Sutton, Sandy Simpson, Kim Wagers, Mark Brandenberger. And, one more special thanks to Vitas Hospice at Ft. Hamilton especially Julie and Emily. Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N.W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH. Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 2 at the Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter in Chains Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton, OH. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice at Ft. Hamilton Hospital, 530 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013. I was so sad when Michael called and told me he was sick. A.J. I am so sorry. He was such a wonderful man. I know how sad you must be right now, but you have so many memories of a man who loved you more than anything. Try to hang in there. My heart goes out to you and your family.
