News Death Notice
STACY, Michael L. Age 55 of Sarasota, Florida passed away August 10, 2015. He was born June 13, 1960 in Middletown. Mike worked as a mail carrier in Longboat Key, Florida. He served his country in the United States Navy. He served aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy CV-67. Mike was preceded in death by his father Donald L. Stacy. He is survived by his mother Mary (Frisby) Stacy and his daughter Paige Stacy. Also, stepson Ryan Jackson. He is also survived by his sister Pam (Richard) Dennis, brother Todd (Carolyn) Stacy, granddaughters Reanna Stacy and Raylynn Stacy. Also, nieces Christina Dennis and Brittany Stacy and uncle Richard (Lorrie) Frisby. There will be a Celebration of Life held in the Chapel at Woodside Cemetery September 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

Mike and I shared an apartment while we were in the Navy in 1984/1985. He was great friend and a lot of fun. I've been searching for him for a few years, wondering whatever became of him. My wife and I have not seen him or talked to him in over 30 years. I hit the search engine yesterday, looking for him again and shocked to have found this. So sad to hear. I'm still very interested in his life and his legacy. May God Bless him and his entire family.

I was so sad to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a dear friend of mine from back in our 20's. We had such great times. I have nothing but fond memories of Mike and, will miss just knowing he is no longer here. Rest in Peace sweet friend! Much love, Pam
