News Death Notice
LENOS, Mike Age 61 of Trenton passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was born in Hamilton on January 26, 1947 the son of Carl and Mary Beth (Darr) Lenos. Mike was a taxidermist for over 30 years and was the owner/operator of Creations Taxidermy in Trenton. He was an avid supporter of Edgewood High School's wrestling team, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. A beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, Mike is survived by his wife, Donna (Petrey) Lenos; four children, Angie (Brian) Butts, Monica Jill (Doug) Murphy, Micah (Doris) Lenos, and Shay Lenos; eight grandchildren, Carley, Sara, Zack, Colt, Blake, Donna, Shelby, and Lauren; his parents, Carl and Mary Beth Lenos; and a brother, Bill (Bethany) Pennington. Funeral service will be held at the Edgewood Baptist Church, 5335 Trenton-Oxford Road, on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Keith Risner, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Donna,
We are so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing and were shocked. We just found out a couple hours ago. We have been out of town on vacation and just got home today. We hate that we were not able to be at his visitation. Our thoughts and prayers are with You and all of your family.

Mike and Donna are both former classmates of mine from New Miami High School. I have youthful memories of Mike and will always see him as friendly, athletic, well-dressed and a class act. Having been away from Hamilton for 40 years, I was stunned to read of Mike's untimely death. Donna, please know that I am praying for you and assure you that God will be your comforter in a time of great loss.

Mike was very close to my family and it is very hard to see him go. I considered him family. He has been around ever since I can remember. He will be deeply missed. I am sorry for your loss and we all know that he is in a better place now.
