Phyllis OLLIS Obituary
News Death Notice
OLLIS, Phyllis Mays age 65 passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 14, 2012. She was born in Hamilton on January 15, 1947 the daughter of Clayton and Ruby (Wells) Mays. Phyllis was a devoted Christian who played the organ and sang at various churches in Hamilton and currently attended Solid Rock Church. She is survived by three children, Brian Ollis, Brad Ollis, and Rebekkah (Ryan) Winkler, all of Hamilton; one brother, Charles Terry "Catfish" Mays of Hamilton; and five grandchildren, Brooke, Saige, Ciera, Kenna, and Kamryn. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lawrence Bishop II of Solid Rock Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. www.browndawsonflick.com

Brian, Brad, and Becky,
May God embrace you and hold you in the palm of his hands during this time. He is our strength and guide during our times of sorrow. Our prayers, thoughts, and love will be with you all during this time. We will miss Phyllis more than words can say. She truly was a blessing to all that knew her. We loved her very much and there will be a hole in our hearts, but she now is at peace. God bless all of you.
