Family-Placed Obituary
SHAVER, Robert A. Age 56, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at University Hospital of Cincinnati. He was born July 8, 1948 in Sarasota, FL, the son of Harold and Mary (Swanson) Shaver. On October 3, 1987 he married Lynn Scherzinger in Fairfield. Robert was a Veteran of the Air Force most recently serving in the Air National Guard. He attended the First Baptist Church of Dent. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Shaver; mother, Mary Shaver; children, Kim (Chris) Burgess, Jeff Shaver and Ryan Shaver; brother, David (Jessica) Shaver; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastor Brian Kershaw officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will also be Friday from 10 a.m. - until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop #912, c/o Cincinnati Christian School, 7350 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH 45014. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.

I am the first cousin of Mary Olive Shaver. Our fathers were brothers. Frances Jackson called me this morning to tell me about Robert's death. My wife and I are very sorry to hear the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these days.
