News Death Notice
TOMPKINS, Sherry Jeanine Age 62 of Jefferson City, TN, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully in her home on March 10, 2016. Sherry was born on October 24, 1953 in Port Union, OH to Beryl and Shirley Harper. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Corey, father, Beryl Harper and brother, Stephen Harper. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Raymond Tompkins of Summerville, SC, two children, Valerie Michelle (Peter) Crabtree of Jefferson City, TN, and Kyle Andrew Owens of West Chester, OH, four grandchildren, William, Colin, Jack, and Sadie Crabtree, mother, Shirley Harper of West Chester, OH, and sister, Sheila Berger of Fairfield, OH. A celebration of Sherry's life will take place in Ohio, at an old fashioned family picnic. Memorial contributions may be made to any of the three charities that were special to Sherry, Susan G. Shirley and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Sherry. I always remember what a sweet girl she was. I always loved our family picnics when we were young where we spent time together. How appropriate to celebrate her life that way.
Please accept my deepest sympathy. My heart goes out to you, Sheila, her husband, children and grandchildren. Prayers for all!
