Stella Sciutti Obituary


News Death Notice

SCIUTTI, Stella M. age 82, of Fairfield, passed away, Thursday, January 1, 2009, at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born January 17, 1926, in Hamilton, the daughter of Elisha Wolfe and Cecille (Setser) Wolfe Strunk. Stella was a 1944 graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 22,1945 in St. John's Church of Hamilton, she was united in marriage to Richard J. Sciutti. Stella had owned and operated Belles and Beaus, a children's clothing store in Fairfield. Survivors include her children ; Cindy (Dennis) Opeil and Richard D. "Ric" Sciutti ; three grandchildren, Alexis Opeil. Brandon (Kristy) Sciutti and Charly Sciutti ; three great grandchildren ; her sister, Kathleen Taylor and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dick Sciutti. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 S. 3rd Street, Hamilton. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sciutti Family c/o Colligan Funeral Home. www.colliganfuneralhome.com
