News Death Notice

LARICCHIUTA, Tony 86, of Trenton, died peacefully Thursday, December 20, 2012, at his daughter & son-in-law's home in Yellow Springs. He was born in Middletown to parents Nicholas and Rosa (Sciannamblo) Laricchiuta. Tony worked as a surveyor for McGraw Construction Company and was an extraordinary wood worker in his retirement years. He served with the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Mr. Laricchiuta is survived by his daughter, Toni Laricchiuta & son-in-law, David Stratton; three grandchildren, Andrew Stratton, Benjamin (Anita) Stratton, & Amy K. Stratton and a brother, John Laricchiuta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lou (Gustin) Laricchiuta and his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Ave., Trenton with Father Thomas H. McCarthy as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
