Walter SCHANEY Obituary

SCHANEY, Jr., Walter J. Age 91 of Dayton, passed away June 2, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Alice Schaney; sister, Betty Watson; sister-in-law, Jean Schaney. Walt is survived by one brother, Gordon Schaney; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike (Rox); one daughter and son-in-law, Missy (Jamie); 5 grandsons, Shaun, Devin, Chris, Billy and Jamie Jr.; 7 great grand children, Noah, Abigail, Tristan, Liam, Samarah, Jocylen, Stella. Walt served in the United Sates Coast Guard and was stationed on the USS Richardson. He also retired from the Dayton Police Department after 27 years of service. I'm so sorry to hear about Walt's passing. He was an inspiration to everyone who he came in contact with, and had a smile that would light up a room. Prayers to his family and friends, especially my sister n law Michelle, he is her everything! Now Walt you can be worry free, happy!
