News Death Notice

PARRISH, William age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:30 PM. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 14, 1946 the son of Henry and Charmain (McGarvey) Parrish. William was employed as a truck driver for Office Furniture Mart for twelve years. He attended the Calvary Christian Center. On February 14, 1996 in Indianapolis he married Patricia (Gates) Butler. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Parrish of Hamilton; three brothers, Robert Parrish, Danny Parrish, and Henry Parrish, Jr.; two grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Butler; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Cayden; and special friends, Eddie and Janey Miller, Ray Taylor, and Willy Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents; two stepchildren, Rhonda Lee Grindstaff and Ronald Lee Butler; one brother, Charlie Parrish; and two sisters, Barbara Burcham and Rosemary Parrish. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Pastor James Mullins, Jr. of Calvary Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
