Elaine went to her heavenly home on Friday, September 10, 2021, with her family by her side. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Elaine was born June 18, 1930, in Albany, LA and lived on the family property her entire life. She was a homemaker and worked many years at Albany High School in the English and Reading labs.
Elaine was a faithful servant of the Lord and lived each day to bring honor and glory to her Savior. Her heart was in teaching Sunday School. She started studying and preparing for her next Sunday's lesson on Monday morning every week. In addition, Elaine was a vital part of the music ministry of her church. She was a strong fixture in the choir from her childhood until her mid-80's. She also served as interim music minister several times over the course of her life.
Elaine had many hobbies including sewing and raising potted flowers. She was an accomplished seamstress. First and foremost, came her family and spending time with them.
