Frank Sirchia Obituary
Frank Joseph Sirchia passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Hammond Louisiana, at the age of 87. He was born on September 15, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Joseph and Pauline Sirchia. He was a resident of Independence, Louisiana and a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Frank is survived by his wife, Rosalie Michel Sirchia; son, Frank Sirchia (Suzette); daughter, Rose Sirchia Petit (David); grandchildren, Morgan Sirchia Gates (Jeff); Ryan Sirchia (Morgan); and Brennan Petit; great-grandchildren, Jalee, Lilee, and Mylee Gates and Meryn Sirchia.
He is preceded in death by his brother Johnny Sirchia and sisters; Annie Sirchia Cacioppo, Francis Sirchia Costa, Lena Sirchia Costa, Katherine Sirchia and Christine Sirchia Gulotta.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 8:30 am until 10:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 620 3rd St., Independence, Louisiana 70443 on Friday at 11:00 am, with Fr. Rueben Dykes officiating.
Entombment will follow at Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum in Independence, Louisiana.
Following the interment a reception will be held in the church parish hall.
