Kenneth Passman Obituary
Kenneth Ray Passman, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the age of 90. He was born on Sunday, April 22, 1934, in Amite, Louisiana and has lived in Hammond since 1970. Kenneth served in the United States Army and he worked for General Acceptance Finance Company for over 30 years. He was loved by family, friends, and neighbors and was most proud of being a Paw Paw to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kenneth will be remembered for his fun, adventurous, humorous, and loving attitude.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Norma Stringfield Passman; wife, Gail Ann Theriot Passman; and sisters, Geraldine Passman Martin and Josie Passman Berwick.
Kenneth is survived by his girlfriend of over 30 years, Anna Castella; children, Gary Passman, Kay Mayeaux, and Paige May (Terry); grandchildren, Jamie Cutrer, Johnny Cutrer, Brigitte Passman, Aleece Passman Pope (Alex), Robbie Mayeaux, and Abby May; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Rose Cutrer, Jaycie Rae Cutrer, Beckham Cutrer, and Luna Snead; sister, Delores Thomas (Devon), and brother, Orlan Passman.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.
Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
