Nancy, age 92, joined her husband Thomas in heaven on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. She was native of Albany, LA. and a lifelong resident of Holden, LA. Nancy enjoyed raising three well-rounded children and keeping a home filled with love and Jesus. Sibley's Catfish Farm was the family business, and for hours on end Nancy would stand there cleaning fish with the best of them. She was a wonderful cook, and her kids remember smelling her red beans simmering on the stove. After dinner, they remember enjoying her delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. Every Sunday she would load up the kids and head off to Church. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Patricia 'Pat' Jones (Jody); son, Floyd Sibley (Lynette); grandchildren, Scott Sibley, Thomas Sibley (Megan), and Kelsie Fernandez (Jared); great-grandchildren, Daniel Sibley; sister, Gracie Hoyt Addison; brothers, Wallace Hoyt (Winnie), Gene Hoyt (Minnie), and Charles Hoyt (Daisy); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Andrew Sibley; granddaughter, Lisa Sibley, son, Lloyd Sibley; parents, Clinton and Leona Hoyt.
