I am saddened by the loss of Sandy. Her gentle soul is a gift to the world. Her beauty, grace, and love transcend earthly bounds. She possessed a special warmth and energy that felt like a blessing bestowed on to all who crossed her path. That number would be staggering; she touched so many lives.
Sending prayers of peace for her family, and of gratitude for her soul and all that she has done on earth and as she is doing in heaven.

I met Sandy a couple years ago at my son & her daughter Katie's wedding. I spent a few days with her. She was so much fun to be around and she was so easy to get to know. She also was one of the strongest and sweetest women I have ever met. I feel very blessed to have been able to meet and spend some time with her! She will be sadly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Sandy's passing. I"ve known her as a fearless St. Vincent leader/volunteer and family friend for a long time. No matter how her day was, what was going with her she was always smiling, joyful. She had a beautiful spiritual, positive outlook, smile. For these reasons and more she inspired me greatly and I will miss her.

Although Tom is my cousin, I didn't know Tom and Sandy well. And yet, when my mother died in the aftermath of Katrina and services for her were held in Amite, Sandy and Tom extended their hospitality to my wife and I, as we were coming in from out of town and hotel/motel lodging wasn't to be found. We were grateful for their kindness, and shared a pleasant evening with them in spite of the sad occasion. It seems that that gesture was very typical of Sandy and Tom, as I read of their many charitable activities. I extend my sympathy and prayers to Tom and his family. Sandy will surely be watching over them all.

Tom and family...so very sorry to learn of Sandy's passing. This picture perfectly captured her beautiful smile and wonderful spirit! She was always the same...loving and kind every time you saw her. Personally I think Sandy got a direct flight to Heaven. You were and are a great team as I am sure she now helps watch over you. It was my pleasure to have known Sandy and be a member of the church family with her. Scripture comes to mind "For who can find a virtuous woman; For her price is far above rubies." Proverbs 31:10. You found her Tom.
