Barbara J. Hamilton

1937 - 2013

Barbara was born in Santa Cruz, CA, on 11-14-37 and passed on 1-1-13 in Hanford, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Les and Edna Neal. Barbara lived most of her life in Hanford. She was a retired bookkeeper for Neves Petroleum out of Beverly Hills. When she was just 16 years old, she and her mother traveled by Greyhound bus to Honey Grove, TX, where she married Joe Hamilton who had just left Hanford with his family and moved to Texas.
Joe and Barbara moved back to Hanford after they both returned from Neves Petroleum. They enjoyed many years traveling in their RV camping in the Sierras, fishing, and hunting. Joe also took many trips on his Harley.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the many friends who were always there for Joe. Especially in the last year of his life as he fought brain cancer and the loss of Barbara.
Per their wishes, no services are planned. The family will be having a BBQ at a later date for family and friends.
